Anita shapes The Message Group, leads its growth, manages its reputation, cultivates relationships, and participates in the work for every client. She also keeps the printer filled with paper.

For over 30 years, Anita has demonstrated her enthusiasm for her clients through a spend-time-in-their-world understanding. She has a relaxed approach to account management and creativity that allows innovative thinking to flourish. Anita is strategic but equally skilled at tactical execution. She understands policy objectives and budgets, digs deep into the client’s insight, and leads with commitment as a catalyst for her clients.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and a Master’s in Life Sciences. She has been a lung cancer advocate for two decades – volunteering as a counselor for the Imerman’s Angels and GO2 for Lung Cancer and as a member of the communications team for the Astellas Chicago Lung Run. Anita lived in Central America where she donated her time and skills to organizing medical missions, learned Spanish, and developed a taste for Nicaraguan coffee.
